Principal
Mrs. Kami Kinsey is completing her 23rd year in education. She began her career as a 4th grade teacher in St. Louis, MO. After teaching for 4 years in Missouri, she moved to Texas where she has served as a 5th and 6th grade teacher, Director of Pre-School Programs, Instructional Coach, and the last four years as the Assistant Principal at Colin Powell Elementary in GPISD.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from University of Missouri-St. Louis and Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO.
Mrs. Kinsey enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and attending her children’s sports activities. She is the proud mother of five-a teacher, a US Marine, a nursing student, a high school senior, and a second grader.
